FAQS
You asked, we answered.
WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO DOG TRAINING?
At Freedom Canine we use the experience and expertise from handling our working K9’s and adapt those skills to create a well-balanced training program for your dog. We focus on reward-based techniques (food and toys) to produce a well-mannered and obedient dog at both home and in public places. This style of training creates a happy and fun environment for your dog as it learns that the desired behavior (sit, stay, down, and come) produces a fun and enjoyable reward.
WHICH OF YOUR SERVICES IS RIGHT FOR ME?
We emphasize communication with you prior to recommending any training services, as a set program is not always the perfect solution in every case. We want to understand your goals and what you feel are the behaviors you want to change in your dog. We'll then come up with a balanced program to suit your goals. At Freedom Canine, we are not a structured 9-5 Monday-Friday only business. We train and work dogs with throughout the day and evening, every day. Feel free to reach out to us anytime by calling, emailing, or texting we will respond as quickly as possibly when we are not actively working dogs.
IS MY DOG TOO OLD TO BE TRAINED?
It is absolutely never too late to train your dog. We believe every dog should have the opportunity to enjoy “the freedom of being off the leash.” In fact, older dogs tend to have a longer attention span which helps them learn, so its never too late to teach and old dog new tricks!
